To the north of the Brunel Museum, in Rotherhithe, is a small paved seating area that has some bench seats that are different to the norm. This seat is fashioned after the Maidenhead Bridge that spans the River Thames in Berkshire.

"Maidenhead Bridge

This is one of the original bridges along the Great Western Railway line and was completed in 1838 across the river Thames. At the time of building its two brick arches were the longest and flattest in the world.
