In Boston, Benjamin Franklin, who was born in the city, has a statue made in his image, situated in front of Old City Hall. Franklin also has a crater on the moon named after him.

Ben Franklin was born in January 17, 1706 in the city of Boston. A building around the corner marks the location with a bust of his head above the second floor on Milk Street. He grew up in Boston, attending Boston Latin, which was then located near that location. He also apprenticed with his brother to learn the printing trade, but he fought with his brother and eventually ran away to Philidelphia. Franklin was always curious and conducted scientific experiments.

Franklin, the crater, is a feature that is in the northeast quarter of the moon's surface that faces the earth at coordinates 38.8°N 47.7°E. It is 56 km wide and 2.7 km deep, with a feature in the center.

If Franklin knew that his name would be identified with a feature on the moon, I think that he would be proud.
