La cathédrale Saint-Étienne est la principale église de Limoges et le siège de l'évêché de Limoges. Elle est située au cœur du vieux quartier de la Cité, contiguë aux jardins de l'Évêché et au musée des Beaux-Arts. C'est l'un des édifices les plus remarquables de Limoges, avec la gare des Bénédictins, et le seul monument religieux du Limousin qui soit construit en style gothique homogène.
Sa construction commença en 1273 et ne fut terminée qu'en 1888 par le rattachement du clocher d'origine romane à la nef.

The St-Étienne de Limoges churchl is the principal church of Limoges and the seat of the Bishopric of Limoges. It is located in the heart of the old quarter of the city, adjacent to the gardens of the Bishop and the Museum of Fine Arts. This is one of the most remarkable buildings of Limoges, the station with the Benedictines, and the only religious monument in the Limousin, which is built in Gothic style uniform.
Construction began in 1273 and was completed in 1888 by linking the tower to the original Romanesque nave.
