This barber pole is attached to what appears to be a lean-to type building in Lower Road, Rotherhithe. Although it looks as though the wind could easily blow it away the outside has a more professional look to it.
A price list is shown on the end wall of the building with a haircut costing a mere £7 - my hairdresser charges £12! The salon is also open 7 days a week.
There is an electrical cable running to the barber pole so I am guessing, at worst, it revolves but it may also be illuminated as well.
