Cinepolis is a chain of movie theaters throughout Mexico. At some locations, the chain also has a VIP multiplex which charges about double the cost of the regular theater. The VIP theaters offer studio type seating which one reserves when purchasing tickets. Once seated, a waitperson takes your order from a menu which not only offers the normal fare of popcorn, candy and hotdogs...but also pizza, sushi, crepes, Buffalo wings, smoothies, gourmet coffees and alcoholic drinks.
You can recline your seat..and the seats are paired....so, a single person or a threesome here might feel awkward.
At Rio Plaza Mall there is both a regular Cinepolis multiplex and a VIP multiplex which are not adjacent to each other. Cost for the VIP theater is about 120 pesos or about $10.
