Quick Description: In 1998 we adopted our cat, Autumn, from this shelter. Since then we've brought toys, blankets, and food out to the shelter to help the other animals waiting for a home. As of 1/21/12, Autumn is still with us and we adore her.

Long Description:
When you drive up into the parking lot, you can hear all the dogs that are waiting to meet you. Walk down the sidewalk and give them a look, see if you can bring one home.
In the back building is the cat house. This is where we found our Autumn.
Be sure and call the office before you drive out there. The hours vary a lot, and due to California's budget trouble, they keep the hours short. Here's the hours posted on the website:
Monday – Thursday: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Take the 5 Freeway, exit on Parker Road and go east. Make right on Castaic Road merge onto Tapia Canyon Road and make a left on Charlie Canyon Road.
