North High School was established in 1993, when Edmond's expanding population required additional schools. Their campus is an expansion of the earlier Edmond Mid-High.
The school is located at 215 W. Danforth Avenue and has a full complement of sports and academic opportunities. Athletically, the school is in the Metro Athletics Conference and plays 6A sports. Their team mascot is the Siberian Husky, and their local rivals are the other two Edmond high schools - Memorial and Santa Fe. The team colors are Silver, White and Navy.
The football field which is shown from above reads "NORTH" on the north end of the field, and "EDMOND" on the south end. The field is located on the north side of the school campus. Gallery photos were taken from the southwest corner of the field.
Gymnast and Olympic Gold Medalist, Shannon Miller graduated from Edmond North.
