This reddish-yellow brick apartment building is a three-story mid-rise apartment complex of 36 units. Built in 1927 during a housing boom in Charlotte, it has retained its classic lines and charming atmosphere of the 1920s - 1940s era to this present day.
The Frederick Apartments building was designated a Charlotte Mecklenburg Historic Site, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001, and was received the Charlotte Historic District Landmark Award in 2003.
