This has been made into a funky working pump the water is pumped up and goes down via a wheel into a shute then down into another shute

Northamptonshire County Council describes the site:
'Sywell Country Park offers meadowland and
lakeside walks, with a small arboretum of exotic trees and Edwardian buildings still surviving from its past role as a water supply reservoir with a water works heritage trail to guide you round.
Free Admission - car parking charge of £2.50 on pay and display basis.
Annual car parking tickets available.
Park open all day, every day.
Car Park and toilets open 9:00am to 5:00pm daily (except Christmas Day).
Sywell Country Park shop open 10:00am to 4:00pm every day except Christmas Day to New Year's Day inclusive.
Hot and cold refreshments (including ice-creams) are available from the Country Park shop when open.''
