From 1923 until 1957, this small bridge across the Casselman Drain hosted New York Central (NYC) Railroad traffic. The rail station in Finch was located 38 miles from the NYC station in Ottawa. The Ottawa Division had opened in 1898. Today, the isolated bridge lies between two private dwellings and near the seniors' home. I suspect that the bridge is surrounded by private property.
Bridge Type: Rigid Frame (Concrete Deck and Supports)
Bridge Usage: Abandoned/Not Active
Moving Bridge: This bridge is static (has no moving pieces)
