Morgan's Great Raid: Six Days of Terror #24 Sign/Marker, John Hunt Morgan Heritage Trail 1863 in Indiana. On July 13, 1863, General Morgan and his men contiuned to move eastward. Exhausted from travel and little sleep, they continued to pillage and plunder their way through Indiana toward Ohio. In the afternoon of July 13th, they crossed the Whitewater River Bridge and then burnt the bridge behind them, moving into West Harrison, Indiana and then on into Harrison, Ohio. Thus ended "Six Days of Terror" and the Indiana portion of Morgan's Great Raid.
