In the center of the courtyard at Flagler College is this round fountain, which is surrounded by a circular walkway. Around the edge of the fountain are terra cotta frogs spouting water toward the center of the pool. In the center of the fountain is a tall, terra cotta column with four turtles at its base; the turtles are spouting water outward into the basin.
The Smithsonian Art Inventory Catalog describes the fountain as follows:
"A fountain consisting of a sphere mounted on a scrolled column-like section that comes out of a bowl. The sphere sprays water into the bowl which is mounted on a short pedestal and is placed in the middle of a circular basin. There are turtles standing in the basin next to the pedestal, and frogs sit on the rim of the basin. All animals are spouting water into the basin."
