The "Water Gardens" are a garden in Lisbon. They are situated on the waterfront of the Parque das Nações. It was originally made for the
Expo '98 (1998 Lisbon World Exposition), whose main theme was the oceans and water.
To that extent the garden has a series of educational equipment that have water as the main theme.

There are a few outdoor science equipments to people interact with, for example:
- A cylindrical tank where people can create and control a whirlpool
- Two structures with some fluid inside, rotating or balancing the structure one can see the fluid dynamics in action
- A windmill whose power allows to pump water, which is then guided by the user
- A screwpump, also known as Archimedes' screw, which transfers water from a low-lying body of water into an upper level; this is operated by hand
