Crossing the narrowing of the Fraser River called Hell's Gate, this aerial tram is noted for being the only one in the world that goes down instead of up. Almost like you are travelling towards Hell.

Back in 1971 the Hell's Gate Air Tram opened for service to take people across the narrowest part of the Fraser River - Hell's Gate.

This tram is unique in that it is the only tram that takes people down, instead of up, a mountain slope. Almost like descending into the gates of hell.
