This extensive multi-war memorial is found along the main street in Fruita in the Veterans Memorial Park. The memorial honors those who made the ultimate sacrifice from the American Civil War [Union] to the Gulf War. There is an honor roll of names on both the memorial and adjacent planters. A 1942 Howitzer from WWII protects the memorial as well as flags of our country and state.
I have taken close-up photos of all the names in case one might have a loved one on the roster.
