A replica of a band shell originally constructed in 1927 at Lee Park in Long Prairie that can hold a 30-piece band is now situated in Veteran's Park in Long Prairie, MN. The bandshell once was the site of community concerts, picnics and such. Now located within the park, it offers a look into the past. Also in the park are numerous veteran's memorials including a five story tall Iwo Jima mural, replica Statue of Liberty, Korean, Vietnam, Women in War and other stunning Veterans Memorial. Lots of park benches to sit and take in the larger than life memorials to those that made America free.

There is an information sign at the foot of the bandshell detailing the bandshells history. Golden eagles rest at the foot of the stairs and on top of the roof.
