Orthodox church of Elevation of the Holy Cross (Pravoslavný chrám Povýšení sv. Kríže), a former small catholic Baroque Hospital Chapel of the Holy Cross, is the only orthodox church in historic town Tabor.
This small church was originally dedicated to St. Elisabeth. With the adjoining house N°285, the former hospital, it creates one unit which is located in the place of the medieval pre-Hussite burial site. The oldest written mention of the hospital dates back to the years 1443-1444. The chapel itself was built at the beginning of the 18th century in the late Baroque style.
