The memorial was erected by the Tenterfield Mounted Rifles to honour their three comrades. It sits in front of the Tenterfield and District Soldiers Memorial & is in first class condition being surrounded by a picket fence. A well maintained rose garden is planted on either side. Of the three who are honoured, two died of enteric fever.
