The Pontiac Pacific Junction Railway (PPJ) was behind the construction of the Interprovincial Bridge (WMCXJ3 and WMCH9Q) in 1901. To connect the Interprovincial Bridge with the PPJ main line just east of Hull West station, the line would need to cross Brewery Creek (requiring the bridge you are waymarking). That place of connection would eventually be known as WAMO Junction (the junction of the CPR's WAltham and M&O subdivisions).

By the 1960s, trains were no longer using the Interprovincial Bridge. However, the rails on this bridge remained in place until 1975.
