This marker is up the hill as one drives along the railroad track side of the east part of Oakwood Cemetery.

Oakwood Cemetery was the primary burial place from the beginning of the history of the city. There are graves of the famous and not so famous, from pioneers to governors. The caretaker told me there are some Woodmen of the World markers in the cemetery but one has to wander around until one spots them. To find this one, one can turn in at the St. Margaret's Cemetery gate on Upper Wetumpka Road, turn left and follow the road back into the Oakwood portion of the cemetery.
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
