Dobson Field is the University ball park. The school website indicates that the Oklahoma Christian baseball team started in 1960 under head coach Leonard Hall. In 1972, the Eagles went 30-10 and finished third in the nation at the NAIA College World Series. After going on hiatus in 2001, the baseball program returned in 2008 under the direction of head coach Chuck White.
A stylized Eagle head is the logo of the team. The school's colors are maroon and white. The team plays in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletic (NAIA), Division 1. They are part of the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC).
The field is well kept, green even in mid-Winter. Large banks of lights illuminate the field. A small set of stands is located directly behind home plate, with the field and team names shown on the framework.
The coordinates shown above were taken in the 3rd home dug-out. A Pitcher's schedule of practice is shown with the photo gallery, and a sign designating the Coaches Dressing Room (which has sign wording also in braille (???) ). A large scoreboard is located outside the fence in left field.
Several large athletic buildings are located near the ballpark, including the Bobby Murcer Indoor Training Facility, and the Dave Smith Athletic Center, known as The Barn. The area outside the ballpark is called Eagle Plaza.
