Fluviário de Mora - Mora, Portugal - Public Aquariums on Waymarking.com

The Fluviário de Mora is a River Aquarium located in the parish of Cabeção, municipality of Mora, and it's settled in the Ecological Park of Gameiro, 120 km from Lisbon by road.

Consisting of a set of aquariums and surrounding spaces, the Fluviário allow to observe the different animals and plants that live in rivers. This is achieved through exposure to natural habitats, water and land, traveling the distance between the source and mouth of a river.

It has over half a thousand fish of 55 different species.

The Fluviário was inaugurated on March 21, 2007.
