This memorial was placed by the Barrhead Royal Canadian Legion Branch #75 in recognition of those that gave their lives in the Korean War. The monument is located in Memorial Park on 49st and 51st Avenue in Barrhead, Alberta.

This monument is a three part monument that lists the fallen on the two side tablets with the central tablet recognizing the valor of the fallen and reminding "Lest we forget".
The park, which was the former site of a church, is located in central Barrhead. A large calibre artillery gun is located at one end of the park.
The area is used for passive recreation only with a few benches and no space for other activity.
Annual memorials are held on Remembrance Day.
