EN:Its construction took place in the years 1931 - 1933 designed by Professor Ing. architect K. Winter. The decision to build a new town hall was based on efforts to replace the old City Hall building, which would be more consonant with city government, while architecturally completed the city center. The new City Hall was so from the beginning conceived as a cultural center with restaurants and cinema. Town Hall Tower (513 m) with panoramic views of the city is open during summer months.

CS:Její stavba probíhala v letech 1931 - 1933 podle návrhu profesora Ing. arch. K. Wintera. Rozhodnutí o stavbe nové radnice vycházelo ze snah nahradit starou radnici objektem, který by více vyhovoval mestské samospráve a zároven by architektonicky dotvoril centrum mesta. Nová radnice proto byla od zacátku pojata i jako kulturní centrum s restauracemi a kinem. Radnicní vež (513 m n. m.) s panoramatickým výhledem na mesto je v letních mesících prístupná.
