British Consulate in Portimão, Algarve in Portugal.
The Algarve and Portimão in particular are a very popular tourist destination for British (1.3 million tourists per year). There is also a large resident population of British citizens (50.000 resident British citizens).
The Consulate is a section of the British Embassy located in Lisbon and it's intended to be closer to the resident population, avoiding longer voyages to the Embassy in Lisbon.
The Consulate is located in a new building complex called "A Fábrica" (The Factory) in the place of an old Sardine Cannery Factory.
