Inside is a sculpture by the Bulgarian artist Petre Petrov.
Inside was made for the V Simposium Internacional de Escultura (5th International Sculpture Simposium) in Portimão in 2007 and the sculpture was made during the simposium (everyone passing by could see the creative process going on). It´s in display on the riverside near the Museum.
The sculpture is a metaphor about looking beyond what´s superficial. Sometimes, inside an ugly package is a beutiful item.
Petre Petrov has a degree in History and another in Sculpture, is a member of several international organizations related to art and scuylpture and has participated in exhibitions all around the world.
