The Lett Street Bridge, approximatley 14 meters in length, is a single span stone arch bridge built over the Ontario, Ottawa aqueduct in 1873. There is a stone wall or parapet still visible over the bridge which was renovated recently. Water still flows under the bridge on its way to the Fleet Street Pumping Station. Including the Lett Street Bridge, there are 5 other stone arch bridges over the aqueduct in Lebreton Flats. They were all built circa 1873 over a distance of approximately 700 meters. Initially, Lett Street used to cross the bridge at that location, but due to changes to the landscape made throughout the years, there are no streets leading to either side of the bridge. Pedestrian can still use the bridge to cross over the aqueduct.
