Constructed in 1923, this building operated as a Masonic home for orphans until 1978. The building remained vacant until 2000 when it was sold to a private individual. It has been beautifully renovated, inside and out, and today operates as The Dominion House, a business offering luxurious wedding accommodations, including a ballroom, wedding chapel and full catering services.
On the north side of the building is a gorgeous outdoor wedding garden, with a pond. Weddings can be scheduled in this beautiful area. A large ballroom with 15 foot ceilings, velvet draperies and crystal chandeliers makes a stunning location for any reception. A wedding chapel with raised stage is available for the wedding ceremony.
The Dominion House has a beautiful website (see link below) with interior photos and virtual tours of the accommodations. Full catering packages are available for these events.
The grounds of the Dominion House are beautiful with gardens, sculptures and an 85 year old fountain. The grounds are secured with a wrought iron fence, and the building is only accessible during events, but the property can be enjoyed from outside the fence, and the website describes the venues and services available.
