The Lower Falls of Little Stoney Creek are located along the Cheif Benge Scout Trail in Jefferson National Forest, 1.10 mile from the parking area at Hanging Rock Park near Dungannon, Virginia. The falls are a cascade type that begins as a gradule slope about 150 yards upstream and forms a plunge pool between two huge bolders. This is one of three waterfalls in the area along this popular hiking trail, and a popular swimming hole for the locals.
