This station, a chiseled square set by the U.S. Geological Survey, is located in Andover, NH, on the Northern Rail Trail, formerly the Northern Railroad, and later the Northern division of the Boston & Maine Railroad. Some maps show this area as Halcyon Station, named for the train depot that once stood here. It is set in the southernmost end of a concrete footing/pier of the west bent of a road overpass. The NGS description is as follows:

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1933
AT HALYCON.
AT HALYCON, MERRIMAC COUNTY, ON THE BOSTON AND MAINE RAILROAD,
200 FEET EAST OF THE STATION, ON AN OVERHEAD HIGHWAY BRIDGE, ON THE
TOP OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE CONCRETE BASE OF THE BENT, 15
FEET NORTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE TRACK, AND 2.5 FEET ABOVE
THE TOP OF THE RAIL. A CHISELED SQUARE.

To clear up some confusion here, an explanation is in order: The way this description is written, it is in relationship to the westbound destination of the track, as if the rail was straight from east to west, and therefore not always in relationship with magnetic north: in other words, there's a north rail and a south rail, regardless of where the track is winding. This explains why the mark in the description is called 15 feet 'north' from the center of the track, when in fact magnetically, it is west.

Anyway, the mark is painted white, and is clearly marked, and therefore easy to spot. There is also a milepost 98.16 close by, probably the marker for the bridge.
