The Cimarron Steakhouse is located on the west side of Oklahoma City, near the I-40 corridor. The building is designed to look like a building from the Old West. Standing two stories, it is constructed of board and batten, painted a rust color. The upper level has a false balcony with wood railings, supported by wood posts on the main level.
The atmosphere inside is Frontier. A full-service bar and tables are located on the main level, with Western memorabilia everywhere. Above your head are authentic wagons suspended from the second floor ceiling. Walk upstairs on a wood staircase, for additional seating, which overlooks the downstairs.
The menu consists of everything from appetizers, to salads and seafood, to their speciality, steaks. The steaks range in size from 8 oz. to 24 oz. and have colorful names like "Doc Holliday," "Belle Starr," "Butch Cassidy," and the "Sundance Kid." The steaks are Mesquite broiled and the best you'll find. A children's menu is also available.
The restaurant is open for luncha nd dinner from 11:00AM to 10:00PM, and till 11:00PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
Private parties can also be arranged. Our group contained about 100 people, and we were seated upstairs in great accommodations, with excellent waitstaff. No reservations are required, so come, enjoy the good food, and the authentic atmosphere.
