Long Description:
This wooden peace pole has four sides, and stands about six feet tall. The languages of the inscription are English, German, Norwegian, and Spanish.
This peace pole was dedicated in 1999. Contributors were Hilltop Lumber, Master Gardeners, Miltona Custom Meats, and Girl Scout Troop #295.
The peace pole is in Terrace Learning Garden, which is a project of Master Gardeners, near Douglas County Services and the public library in Alexandria.
