Long Description:
Concrete steps built in the late 1930s by the city Public Works department, connecting the population of Stanton Heights with the industrial plants near the Allegheny river, and business shops on Butler street.

One of the longest uninterrupted set of public steps in the city of Pittsburgh.

The lower part location is adjacent to a newly built shopping and supermarket center.
