The Sky Palm Motel Motel is located in Orange, California. It has Googie style architecture. This Zippy strip has a Googie influence with the shape of panes of the strip turned at an angle, rather than the normal orientation.
Zippy and his wife, Zerbina, were having an "illicit" meeting in the motel in 2001. They realized that they were married after looking at pictures of their kids. When they discovered that thier kids had the same names, that they must be married.
