Located at the west end of Townsend on the Little River, there is a wheelchair accessible picnic area with half dozen concrete tables and a couple of grills. A wide wood ramp leads down to the river for the fishing pier.
The sign here indicates the arrangement was created and maintained by the Civitan Club - starting in 1991. Everything appeared to be in good working order. Thanks to the Civitans.
