Long Description:
After visiting Branson Missouri several times, local residents Frank and Gail Haas and Bill Proudfoot created the Woodtick Musical Theater in downtown Akeley, MN. The theater has since been sold but the shows continue on, now over 20 years worth.
The show is a family favorite and combines comedy performances, music and family fun. Hundreds of tour buses roll into Akeley Wed. thru Saturdays during the summer.
The theater is on Highway 34 and the intersection of Highway 34 and 64 right on main street. It is housed in a vintage building.
