The 1 Yonge-University-Spadina Subway has 32 stations, and is a “U-shaped” subway route running generally in a south and then north direction. The route operates from the northern area of Yonge Street and Finch Avenue East, south to Union Station in downtown Toronto, and then north again to the area of Allen Road and Sheppard Avenue West. The Yonge-University-Spadina Subway connects with the Bloor-Danforth Subway at Bloor-Yonge, St. George and Spadina Stations, and it connects with the Sheppard Subway at Sheppard-Yonge Station.
