The city of Sao Paulo has a lot of museum and culture. The city has many museums. Art museum like MASP (Museu de Arte de Sao Paulo) MAM (Museu de Arte Moderna) and the Pinocateca.
MASP is on Ave Paulista and the building itself is a piece of work. MAM is located in Ibirapuera Park and the Pinocateca is housed in a 1900 building in the Luz Park.
Sao Paulo also has a lot of public art. "A Mao" by Oscar Neimeyer is one of my favorites. It's located at the Latin American Memorial.
The city also has some architectural masterpieces like the Hotel Unique and Hotel Emiliano (both cited in the book)
