Elvis played an outdoor show here for Labor Day, September 2, 1957. Attended by 12-15,000 screaming teenaged fans, he played an hour long set, on a stage placed within the baseball diamond. Although baseball is no longer played here, the rough location of the stage is easy to determine, and the field can be viewed from the street to the east.
