This station is a Massachusetts Department of Public Works standard traverse station disk, located in Chelmsford, MA. It is located along the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail, formerly the Framingham and Lowell branch of the New Haven Railroad (NYNH&HRR). It is one of several such marks along this trail. The MAGS Datasheet gives the following description:

Stamping: 79 S
Marked By: MAGS DISK IN CONCRETE MONUMENT AT GRADE
Description: SOUTH CHELMSFORD, ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE NYNH&H RAILROAD (BOSTON DIVISION), 27 FT WEST OF THE WEST RAIL, ABOUT 0.2 MI NORTHEAST OF DEPOT, 775 FT NORTHEAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF MAPLE ROAD, 3.5 FT EAST OF WIRE FENCE.

The description is adequate, except that the rails are no longer in place, so change the distance of 27-ft from the west rail to 29-ft from the center of the trail. The wire fence is gone, but a stonewall property corner is close by.
