Cast steel bell mounted in a wood frame in the back yard of the historic Jonathan W. Bass House Museum on Hwy 119 outside Leeds, AL.
The bell was cast by the C. S. Bell Co. of Hillsboro, OH. Inside the wood frame below the bell is a concrete block with a federal shield-shaped bronze plaque reading, "USA 1936-197 WPA".
