Located along Highway 6, Hewitt's Dairy Bar has been open since 1962. They make their own ice cream in the only remaining independent dairy company in Ontario. In addition serving many hand-dipped flavours in cones, they also serve sundaes, floats, malts and shakes.
There is a primary diner area where one can also sit and eat hot dogs, hamburgers, fries and a variety of other sandwiches. A secondary area is open only in summer and sells only ice cream. There is seating in the diner area and outside.
People can also buy Hewitt's milk products, 2L ice cream for home use, and a variety of other ice cream related products.
