A Llanbadarn Fawr man has accused Arriva of “bully boy tactics” after witnessing a “tirade of abuse and curses” aimed at a rival bus company’s driver.

Steve Williams, 48, said he was waiting for the 1.25pm Mid Wales Travel bus from Aberystwyth last Thursday when he saw a case of the “bully boy” tactics from Arriva.
He said: “Two Arriva buses were parked, rather badly, on the entrance to the bus station. On the other rank was an Arriva van parked in such a way that the 306 service could not get onto the pick-up point."
Arriva Buses refused to comment on this specific case and Mel Evans of Mid Wales Travel said he has told his drivers not to get involved confrontation.
