The Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown (Champalimaud Foundation)is a research institute based in Lisbon focused in biomedical science particularly in the fields of cancer research and neuroscience.

The Foundation houses a fully equipped auditorium with 400 seats to be used for congresses, conventions, conferences or meetings hosted by the Foundation or by 3rd partys.
The facility is available for commercial hire.

Since the inauguration in October 2010 the Foundation has hosted several congresses and conventions focused on Medical investigation (Medicine: Ways of Life, International Neuroscience Meeting, Cancer Research Symposium, etc...) but also 3rd party Conventions like the 2nd Congresso Mundial do Sobreiro e da Cortiça (World Congress of Cork).
