This campus library has been located in the Mabee Learning Center since 1965. In 1985, it doubled in size and services, and again in 1996, expanded onto the second floor of the building. In 1996, the Oklahoma Christian University Library was named for Tom and Ada Beam, long-time supporters of the University and the library.

This a full service library, with extensive research and reference resources, as well as the SIRSI integrated library system, with a fully automated catalog. The library web page has an informational blog, and there is a Text a Librarian availability.

Public access is allowed to the library in-house, but borrowing services are reserved for OCU students, faculty and staff. Borrowing is also offered to OCU alumni and retired faculty living in the Oklahoma City area, as well as Church of Christ preachers.

The library has a full range of services, and includes tapes, DVDs, film, periodicals, and an Inter-library Loan capability (ILL). There is a computer lab with Internet access to patrons of the library.
