Model 1918 155mm Howitzer displayed at American Legion Post 107 on Ashvile Road NE in Leeds, AL. The tube is marked "ABS & FDY CO 1918" "2690 POUNDS NO. 1165 J.H.C. There is no marking on the breech; however this piece matches others I have seen which leads me to say that it was based on the 1917 French 155mm howitzer.

The Model 1918 was replaced in 1942 by the M114 155 mm howitzer.
