The Somdet Phraborom Ratchathewee (hospital) is located in the town of Sri Racha, on the eastern seaboard of Thailand, in the province of Chonburi. Judging by the older signs present in the hospital grounds (in Thai and in gallery), this was originally a Red Cross hospital. Since then it has become a royal Thai hospital. There is a sign near the main entrance which states that the original building is one hundred years old. There is also a sign outside the hospital grounds which describes the history of the hospital in rather formal Thai (in gallery).
