Every year the management of the shopping center Fórum Algarve sets this ice skating ring, along with a huge Christmas tree, to enhance the atmosphere of the season.
It's always a success. People fill the space and there is lots of fun. I guess it's specially popular as there is no ice skating tradition in Portugal, so, as often happens with novelties, everybody wants to try their skating skills.
There are no fixed dates for the opening and closing of the space but it's usually available between middle of November and middle of January.
