Dedicated to preserve the memory of the
Burnside School District
The original log structure served the community from 1875 to 1896.
The miniature replica represents the brick structure also located on this site that served the community from 1896 to 1969.
This cairn is provided by the residents, friends, teachers and students of Burnside.
Dedicated June 1997.
