Jesup Psychological Laboratory

Built 1914

This building is located on Vanderbilt's scenic Peabody Campus. It was originally the Psychology Lab for Peabody College, but became associated with Vanderbilt when they took over Peabody in 1979. It is named for Morris Jesup, a wealthy banker who was a member of the Peabody Education Board, funded several scientific research projects, and started the American Museum of Natural History in New York. The building was dedicated to Morris shortly after his death.
